Event Details
Join the Edinburgh Shoreline project for a botanical discovery walk at Seafield. The area is incredibly botanically rich, making it a joy to walk in the summer. The Royal Botanic Garden’s Leonie Alexander will walk and talk us through the plants we find and their importance to the coastal ecosystem.
Meet beside the Seafield level crossing at Seafield Road (opposite SIG roofing). We will follow the path east of Seafield Waste Water Treatment down to the beach. Please wear sturdy shoes, suitable clothing and bring a drink with you.
Feel free to bring hand lenses with you if you have them, but we will provide some for those who don’t. You may also want to bring binoculars with you, as the birdlife down here is also great to watch!
