We had a wonderful evening at the Lind & Lime distillery, Leith hosted by Muckle Brig, Edinburgh Shoreline and the Restoration Forth project.

The evening was spent sharing the importance of oysters in the Forth of Forth and their historical significance.

We also heard about the new Oyster Hatchery being established in east Lothian – an encouraging development which should help simplify both transport and biosecurity issues going forward. Early days but exciting times!

It was great to see so many volunteers there, and for them to hear first hand about the difference they are making.
