I particularly selected twaite shad because it’s now a protected species of fish. They were exploited for a long time and the poor quality of water and litters are some of the barriers for them to suitable spawning. The materials I’ve used are the disposable eye drops, they are tiny and it reminded me of nursery fishes after spawning fish eggs. I have used real dried seaweeds and left over fabric and fishing net I have picked up from Seafield beach.
