I was interested in Bladderwrack as I collected and photographed it along the Wardie bay coastline where I live. I love the form of the air bubbles which help it float on the surface capturing sunlight for photosynthesis. I work with Toner on Arches paper, recycled carbon powder is rubbed with recycled cotton cloth to capture the seaweeds tone and form, elevating its importance.
