I am interested in bacteria after learning about them in school. I thought it would be good to learn more about these organisms through this project.
E. coli are a type of bacteria which live in the intestines of warm blooded animals, including humans. Most strains of Escherichia coli are harmless or even beneficial, however, some types can cause serious food poising. E. coli can replicate very quickly under good conditions, allowing the bacterium to spread.
I have used my colouring in pencils and a sheet of A4 paper to create my species. It is 29 cm by 21cm.
