I have been fascinated by cetaceans since I can remember. I once encountered some porpoises in a kayak, they were incredibly graceful and I could actually hear them breathing. Humpback whales are my favourite as they are great to paint with their knobbly fins and playful characters.  Recently there has been a humpback whale spotted in the east Neuk of Fife near the Isle of May. The painting materials are oils on board.  It measures 36cm x 22cm.
