I have seen this marine foam spread out along the beaches in East Neuk, and wanted to know what it was.
I learned that sea foam is a type of microscopic marine algae, that can live as individual cells, or they can form large colonies consisting of many individuals.
I have used an A4 sheet of paper and colouring in pencils. It is 29cm by 21cm.
