Ringed Plovers run along the shoreline at Wardie Bay where I swim and are also living on Tiree where I was staying when making the work. Their speed, an air of constant busyness, was what struck me most about observing and getting to know them. I have used sugar and photographic paper that were left over from a previous project so that I didn’t waste any new resources. I made the flip book so that people could interact directly with the work and to show how their haste and speed in foraging.
