Working alongside local Climate Action Networks we invite developers and planners from across the Lothians, Edinburgh and the Borders for this workshop on climate and nature friendly practices.
Through open discussion we shared ideas about climate friendly design, natural solutions to climate impacts; developer perspectives on what is easy and cost-effective from a climate friendly perspective and what are the barriers; and the benefits of community gardens in developments.
Leonie was one of the community presenters sharing thoughts and ideas for the Granton area and the coastal park being planned there.
By the end of the session, we aimed to ensure that all participants should have:
