A rare collection of colour photographs of Portobello during the 1950s and 60s have gone on display at Portobello library, Rosefield Avenue. They show the sunny side of life in Edinburgh’s seaside, with images of families playing on the beach, a pony and trap offering rides and local landmarks such as the former power station.
